Legionella Risk Assessments
Employers, landlords or persons in control of premises have a legal duty under the Health & Safety at Work Act to undertake the right precautions to reduce the risk of exposure to legionella. As a minimum, it is expected that companies always hold an up to date risk assessment with a full schematic of the water system and network.

Legionella Monitoring & Sampling
An integral part of the ACoPL8/HSG274 Parts 1, 2 & 3 requirements is the need to undertake regular monitoring of hot and cold-water systems to ensure that they are operating within the guideline parameters.
Our comprehensive service packages include:
- Temperature monitoring of all stored hot and cold water
- Distribution temperature monitoring
- Routine sampling carried out to determine the extent of bacteria within your systems.
- All samples analysed at a UKAS accredited laboratory for independent analysis for the presence of E. coli, coliforms, TVCs, pseudomonas and legionella bacteria
Via our bespoke Houseman DataTrak database, we provide a recordable history of every service we have undertaken - from risk assessments to sampling reports and certificates - allowing you to keep a track of all completed and pending jobs. You'll have access to this information whenever you want, via your own secure login.
Should any temperatures or sample results be non-compliant we will support you throughout the process in order to return your site to safe and compliant levels.
